A specialised facility for up to 14 learners, Te Whare Maru provides a first-class educational experience for students with special needs.
Established in 1997
Te Whare Maru is the only programme in the whole of South Canterbury for children funded by the Ongoing Resource Scheme.
Located on-site and powered by high-quality teaching and resources, Te Whare Maru provides the experience of a highly individualised programme within a mainstream school. And, because inclusivity is part of our DNA at Highfield, each student enjoys the same opportunities as their peers.
